Carrie Hopkins has worked with children for the last fifteen years and received her Masters in Teaching from the University of Portland in 2003. She has worked in two school districts as a substitute teacher while raising two young children of her own. She has also worked for the Washougal Community Education and Recreation department using the LEGO programs. Her passion for kids to use engineering and imagination is seen through the number of classes and programs that are offered.
Nikki Mael has been working with children for the last twenty years. She has worked with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children. She received her Early Childhood Education degree from Clark College and continues to build her education background by attending conferences and classes. She has also worked as an assistant director and director of two before and after school age programs. She previously taught preschool for the Washougal School District for over 10 years.
Lisa Walters has a passion for spending time with young children and watching them learn and grow. "Seeing things through the eyes of a child is a gift and I love to see the excitement children have about learning new things!" she says. She grew up in England, and has been in America for 30 years. She has two grown daughters and 3 grandsons. She studied Early Childhood Education at Clark College and earned her A.A.Degree in Early Learning. She has worked with Ms.Nikki in Preschool Education for the last 8 years!
